About this surface pattern design

This retro abstract swirl pattern was inspired by 1960s and 1970s fashion. I am happy to let you know that this retro inspired graphic pattern comes in two different color ways. The first color way features dark pink and dark red swirls on a light pink background. The second color way is hot pink flowers on a light pink background with mustard yellow. Both versions would be perfect for use in fashion, wallpaper and home decor. Each color way is also available in three different scales to suit your needs, small, medium and large. This print is part of my Dahlicious pattern collection in which you can find other coordinating designs.

The inspiration behind this print

This retro abstract swirl pattern was inspired by prints from the 60s and 70s. It is meant to coordinate with the more complex designs in my Dahlicious pattern collection but also stands well on its own. When I was designing this print, I was thinking about lava lamps, pop art and other graphic elements that were popular in the mid century. This kind of abstract pattern also happens to be on trend right now so I thought it would make the perfect addition to the collection.
