About this surface pattern design

This ditsy floral pattern is a cute, girly blender print that would pair really nicely with my other hero floral prints in my Dahlicious surface pattern design collection. These blossoms are available in two different color ways. The first color way is pink and cream flowers on a mustard yellow background. The second color way is pink and dark red flowers on a cream background. I envision this print looking amazing on fashion items or home decor items like sheets and wallpaper. Both color ways are available in three different scales to suit your needs, small, medium and large.

The inspiration behind this print

I wanted to include a smaller scale floral to round out my Dahlicious floral pattern collection so I made this ditsy floral pattern. It is based on the filler flower I used in my main hero print in this collection. Unlike the main flowers in this collection (dahlias) these little blossoms aren’t based on a real flower variety but rather, an imagined one. Over the years, I have taken so many photographs of flowers to use as inspiration in my surface pattern design work.
